Fields’ Guide to Dirty Money, by Julie Mulhern

I can always count on Julie Mulhern to craft a story that will pull me in and keep me reading long after my bedtime. That was certainly the case with Fields’ Guide to Dirty Money.

Poppy and Mark are in the Caymen Islands for Poppy’s mother’s wedding. As Poppy sets out to find the perfect place for the bridal shower, the one thing she absolutely does not have time for is witnessing a murder and an assassin coming after her. Too bad no one gives Poppy a choice. As she and Mark dodge drug lords and money launderers, she finds herself searching for a missing wedding planner and longing for quiet, stress-free time away from all the action with Mark.

There are so many reasons to like this series, among them the skill of the author who writes with wit, warmth, and humor.
