Stayin’ Alive, by Julie Mulhern

Ellison’s hard work is about to pay off. The night of her gala to celebrate the opening of a new Chinese exhibit has been planned to the nth degree–everything is perfect and ready to go. Ellison just hopes she can make it through the evening without finding a body. But her hopes come crashing down shortly after she and her date, Anarchy Jones, sneak away for a moment alone after dinner. This killer looks to be targeting ladies of the Country Club circle, especially when Ellison and a friend from her bridge group find a second body, and Ellison herself very nearly becomes victim number three. All of the action unfolds amid a backdrop of spring and all that implies–namely, love in the air.

Julie Mulhern crafts another clever mystery with humor and sensitivity. This is the tenth book in a series that continues to deliver delight to happy mystery fans the world over. I’m certainly staying tuned in for whatever comes next!
