I love returning to Mistletoe, Maine in the Christmas Tree Farm mystery series. It feels cozy and welcoming and I want to pack my bags and move right in! ‘Twas the Knife Before Christmas is the second story in the series (so far) and another holiday season has brought a new murder mystery to the small town. Fortunately for Holly White, this time the caper isn’t on her family’s tree farm. Unfortunately, the prime suspect is her best friend.

I was completely stumped by the plot that Jacqueline Frost created! I never suspected who the killer was until it was too late. I loved the twists and turns that popped up along the way and was literally shaking in my seat in some scenes! I quickly devoured the book and, like kids at Christmas, am eagerly (and impatiently) waiting for the next story.
