As a book blogger, it’s fun to get together (even online!) with other avid readers, authors, and book bloggers. One of the groups that I am a part of, Book Blogger’s Resource, is having a summer giveaway and a blog hop! For those of us taking part in the giveaway, we are dedicating some blog space to shine the spotlight on others in the group.
Today, I have the pleasure of introducing you to Jaime and her blog. I hope you enjoy her visit here and will consider visiting her blog and showing her some love! At the end of the post, you’ll find a Rafflecopter where you can enter to win that awesome $225 Amazon gift card. Enjoy!
My name is Jaime Collins and I am an Army wife (12 years as military wife, 14 years married) and mother to two amazing kiddos and two crazy fur babies.
I have always loved reading and writing. Growing up I wanted to be an author or a journalist, but life had different plans and I started a family instead of a career. I only averaged 3 books a year in the past. I first began my affair with e-books when I downloaded Slammed by Colleen Hoover (to this day it’s one of my top ten favorite books) to the Kindle App on my iPhone. Then, in May 2012 a friend convinced me to read Fifty Shades of Grey. I finished in 24 hours and immediately went out and bought all 3 books for myself. I finished them all in 4 days total. When I finished I couldn’t get over how they made me feel, so I set out in search of another book to give me that same feeling. That is where I found Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and OH MY GOD! I was in love with reading again.
From there things only got worse (or better depending on your view. Ha!). I couldn’t stop one-clicking and soon I was reading at least a book a day. I found myself wanting to run and share each and every book with my friends. Unfortunately most of them aren’t as avid readers as myself. Then I discovered Goodreads through Facebook and started keeping track of my reads there and that’s how I discovered this amazing network of book lovers and bloggers.
This is why I decided at the beginning of July, 2013 to start my own blog. I want to be able to share my love of reading with those who love it in the same way. I’m so excited to share it with you all!!
I have a Kindle Fire now, so you don’t have to worry about me losing my eyesight reading on my iPhone. Though sometimes I still read on it too. 🙂

Here are some of my favorite BBF’s and how I picture them. I have a billion other BBF’s but these are some of my stand-outs.
Cameron Hamilton
“I’m beginning to think cookies is a code word for something else.” “Maybe it is.” He tugged on my bag again as he took a confident step back, forcing me down another step. “And just think about it. If cookie was a code word, whatever it symbolizes, it’s been in your mouth, sweetheart.”

Finn Wilder
“Tell me what you want,” I whisper.
He inclines his face closer to mine and urgently whispers back.
“What I want? I want world peace. What I need? I need to make love to you. I need to erase those bad dreams from your mind, to make you understand how much I love you, Becks.”
Will Cooper
“So you keep your ocean, I’ll take the Lake.”
“Life knows.
Life is trying to tell me
That the girl I love
The girl I fell
So hard for?
There’s room for her in first.
I’m putting her first.”
Travis “Mad Dog” Maddox
“To douchebags!” he said, gesturing to Brad. “And to girls that break your heart,” he bowed his head to me. His eyes lost focus. “And to the absolute fucking horror of losing your best friend because you were stupid enough to fall in love with her.”
Andrew Parrish
“If you were to let me fuck you, you would have to let me own you.”
“A woman who knows what she wants sexually, and isn’t afraid to express it is so fucking hot, Camryn- Tell. Me. What. You. Want. Or, I won’t give it to you.”

Davis Milo
“You are my sin. And my Heaven. And everything in between.”
“Because we will hurt each other, and we will fight, and we will argue. And sometimes it’ll be less than perfect. But it’ll be real. Every second of it will be completely real.”
Ambrose Young
“I want your body. I want your mouth. I want your red hair in my hands. I want your laugh and your funny faces. I want your friendship and your inspirational thoughts. I want Shakespeare and Amber Rose novels … And I want you to come with me when I go.”
“If God saved my life, why didn’t he save their lives? Is my life so much more valuable? So I’m special… and they’re not?”
GUYS I WOULD LET MY DAUGHTER DATE
