I very much enjoy watching the various birds that come to my yard for food or water or simply a visit. They, along with the bunnies and squirrels, are my well-loved yard babies.

I also very much enjoy the particular humor of author and illustrator Matt Kracht. This hilarious “field guide” left me in stitches and I’ve determined that it’s a book I need to add to my personal library. Such a fun and funny way to start my reading year!

P.S. Beware the crows–they are indeed always watching!
