Meet Your Reader: Debby Crowell

As fun as it is to learn about books and stories and authors, I think it’s equally as fun and interesting to learn about my fellow readers and those wonderful folks who follow Girl with Book Lungs here or on Facebook. So I invite you to take a few moments and Meet Your Reader.Meet Your Reader

Your name:
Debby Crowell

Where you are: Southeast Michigan

Currently reading: I just got done with Darynda Jones #3 for Charley Davidson

Your first reading  memory: My first reading memory is actually of my mom or dad reading to us. Mom read the Little House books  . . . I miss that.

Some of your favorite authors: Darynda Jones, Tonya Kappas, Clive Cussler, Heather Graham

An author (dead or alive) who you would most like to meet: I would love to meet Jane Austen; I love her stories.

How do you pick what to read next: I stalk the mystery section of the library, or friends recommend books, or I see something online, like on Facebook, and check out authors there.

Anything else you’d like to share: I love reading . . . I don’t know what I would do without my books. I got rid of cable so that is now my major entertainment.

Thanks, Debby, it’s great to meet another library lover!

  1. Hi Jenna and Debby! This is a great feature! As much as I love reading about fellow authors, reading about readers is equally if not more fun. 🙂 Debby, I’m impressed that you got rid of cable! I know that would help me read more, too.
